Crochet Tutorials and "How to crochet" Basics
More coming soon! This section will be greatly expanded with your help!
It can be a bit daunting to type in "learn to crochet" to YouTube or Google and see the many things that pop up. I am starting out with my favorites here, and will post more as they are suggested. These were how I learned to crochet, and I found them easy to follow. Everyone is different though, so please share your fav's!
Do you have a favorite tutorial, blog, or pattern? Even a board on Pinterest? Please let us know! We are also looking for unique and new tutorials patterns created for The Yarnhead Project, and be a featured designer!

Claire's Favorites - The basics:
I am posting links to my top three favorites on YouTube. Below these will be links to written tutorials.

There are 67 beginning "how to" videos on this amazing channel! She is based out of Australia, and makes amazing items, shares her patterns and techniques for free, and I just adore her. This is a great place to start.
The Crochet Geek
Can not say enough about the Crochet Geek! Fabulous set of basic tutorial with all the stitches you know to make just about anything. Every one includes closed captioning so you can pause and read instructions as you go if needed (like I did!).

LOVE this lady, and her fabulous nails! This was actually the first set of tutorials on YouTube I used, after attempting to read a "how to" book and failing miserably. She has wonderful tutorials and projects that are given step by step, slowly, and she explains her hand motions with the yarn, which I found very helpful.
